For HR & L&D managers

Your company has probably already paid for this year's training.

If you have ten or more Malaysian employees, you pay 1% of their monthly wages to HRD Corp. That money is set aside for your own staff's training, but only if someone claims it.

Many employers never get round to it. The balance builds up, the rules on how long it can sit there keep tightening, and the budget quietly goes unspent. We'll help you see what you have and put it to work on programmes your managers actually asked for.

FAQ

Questions we hear from HR teams and founders

Is The Dune an HRD Corp registered training provider?

Yes. The Dune is a registered training provider with HRD Corp (Human Resource Development Corporation), so employers who pay the HRD Corp levy can claim our programmes against their levy balance.

How do I know whether my company has unused HRD Corp levy?

Your balance is shown in the HRD Corp employer portal (eTRiS). If you haven't claimed training in the last year, you almost certainly have funds sitting there. Our levy checker gives a quick estimate, and we can go through the portal with your HR team.

Do you only run training, or do you also advise businesses?

Both. We run corporate training and L&D programmes, and we advise founders and SMEs on strategy, growth planning, fundraising readiness and grant applications. Many clients use the two together.

Can you design a programme around our own business?

Yes. Most of our in-house work is adapted to the client's industry, systems and targets. We run a short training needs analysis first, then use your own cases and figures in the sessions.

Where do you run training?

At your premises anywhere in Malaysia, at a venue we arrange, or live online. Public runs are held in the Klang Valley.

Find out what your levy can pay for

Send us your headcount and training priorities. We'll come back within two working days with a suggested plan and an estimate of what it would cost against your HRD Corp balance.
